Help Center

Fundamentals of our community

Trust is one of the pillars of the Cameasygo community. Thus, each member is invited to add their photo, write their minibio and leave reviews to help you get to know them better before partnering together.

Will my customer be punctual? Is this driver's driving safe? Reviews left for community members can answer these questions before you even meet them.

For our part, we take care of checking that the e-mail addresses and telephone numbers are valid.

Drivers

Take care of your customers and listen to their requests, within reason, of course. Drive safely and calmly, stay focused on the road and don't be reckless. Show up at the agreed meeting point on time and drop customers off at a convenient, agreed location (not on the side of the highway or in the middle of nowhere!). For everyone's comfort, do not overfill the car, especially if the customers have luggage.

Customers

A carpool is not a taxi, so it is important not to arrive late, not to cancel at the last minute and not to make exaggerated requests (for example, a 45-minute detour). Do not try to negotiate the price that has already been agreed. Respect the driver's preferences regarding music and smoking. Finally, leave his car clean and tidy.

For more information, do not hesitate to consult our Code of Conduct.

Messaging allows you to organize the details of a trip. We can moderate messages to ensure a friendly space where everyone feels safe.

We block messages that are inappropriate, seek to circumvent online booking, or violate our posting rules.

Messages that contain a phone number, email address, or contact information are deleted.

Members whose message has been moderated receive an email inviting them to resend a new message following our advice.

Everyone fastened their seatbelt? Perfect ! The belt is the first reflex to adopt to partner in complete safety. Here are 10 tips for safe partner:

I am a customer

  • Luggage: Do not obstruct the visibility of the person behind the wheel: place your luggage in the boot, not on the rear parcel shelf.
  • Baby or child on board: Up to a certain age, children must be installed in a car seat. The car is not necessarily equipped, it is up to you to think about it. Check the regulations on this subject, it is your responsibility.
  • Drowsiness: Discuss, debate, listen to the radio and sing if you wish! In a car, you should be able to have fun, as long as it does not disturb the person behind the wheel. And if that's not enough, offer him a coffee break.
  • I am a driver

  • Do not call while driving. Choose a co-pilot to take care of the GPS and use a hands-free kit only in case of emergency
  • Breaks: Motorway rest areas are waiting for you to take a 15 to 20 minute break every two hours.
  • Are you partnering at night? Get enough rest before driving.
  • Your vehicle: Check that your car insurance and technical inspection are up to date and keep them with you. Check your tire pressure, oil level, water level, brakes, lights and wipers before you hit the road.
  • Drugs and Alcohol: Is It Really Worth Talking About? Drugs and alcohol are prohibited while driving. In addition to risking your life and the lives of others, you can lose your driver's license.
  • Weather: Watch out for rain or snow. Keep in mind that braking distances are longer and visibility is worse in bad weather.
  • And of course, respect the traffic regulations in all circumstances.

Here is our prevention checklist , which you can print and keep in your car!

    Report a problem

Your journey did not take place or did not go as planned?
If a complaint is opened by you or by the other carpooler, you will receive an email indicating that you or the other member have 7 days to respond to this complaint on Cameasygo.

The timing of your refund or payment varies depending on the response to the complaint:

  • In general, a complaint is automatically processed within 7 days maximum, sometimes less if the two carpoolers respond quickly and agree on what happened!
  • You may not agree with your carpooler, for different reasons or because of a simple misunderstanding; the amount of the reservation is then temporarily blocked. It is our team that investigates and contacts you if necessary to find out more.
  • Based on your responses, our team determines who should revert the booking amount and a few additional days may be needed to resolve and close the claim in the fairest way.

You have a complaint in progress and you have not heard from us yet?
Do you want to dispute the processing of a complaint?
Contact us and our team will get back to you quickly.

If you believe that a member is not using Cameasygo as he should, you can report it from the Messages page, Route or from his Profile. Simply click or tap on Report this member.

Choose the reason you want to report this member and give us as much detail as possible. Our team will do everything to help you and take the necessary measures to ensure that this does not happen again in the future.

If you had a bad experience with a member during a trip, you can also express it in the opinion that you will leave for them, in order to share your experience with the rest of the community.

Please note that you can also contact us directly to let us know of any issues related to another member.

    Partner abroad

Sure ! Carpooling knows no borders. You can offer and find goodAndServices anywhere in the world.

Are you crossing the border? You will see, carpooling is as simple as any other means of transport. You just need to take your partner documents with you!

    Children and minors

All customers must be over 18 to create an account on Cameasygo. However, if you have a child who needs to partner, you can book a goodAndService for them using your account.

A child has a seat of their own, whether they need a car seat or use a seat belt like any other customer. This is why there is no reduced rate for children partnering by carpool or by bus. It is up to the customer accompanying the child to ensure that he or she has the appropriate equipment (car seat, booster seat, seat belt adaptor).

    Terms and conditions

    Bus trips

The rules for transporting animals may vary depending on the bus company you are partnering with.

    Carpools

Animals can partner by carpool, under certain conditions:

  • They partner with their owner
  • The driver agrees to partner with them - this information appears on their trip
  • After booking, inform your driver by message to check that there will be room for your animal!

If your pet takes up space or partners in a crate, you may need to reserve an additional space. In addition, animal owners must ensure that they provide the equipment and documents necessary for their trip (leash, health record, etc.).

It is not authorized to lend the wheel to a learner driver in accompanied driving.

Cameasygo drivers who wish to publish a trip must hold a driving license.
